On Wednesday, 11 October 2023, The Metaverse Society hosted a closed-door, multi-stakeholder roundtable on the use of AI in virtual worlds. The discussion was engaging and wide-ranging, focused on exploring the practicalities of metaverse-enabling technologies and potential regulatory challenges that may emerge as AI features are increasingly embedded in virtual world environments, the interconnected network of which may be called a metaverse.
