HUMANISM IN THE AGE OF AI

This event at La Sorbonne brought together high-level political leaders, intellectuals, and AI entrepreneurs to reflect on Europe’s role in the new technological era and discuss how to preserve the distinctiveness and strengths of the European model. The audience included students, civil society figures, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and journalists. The program opened with a keynote by Margrethe Vestager, followed by a central panel on “European Humanism in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” featuring leading European personalities. The event concluded with the presentation of the Académie d’Europe, a new forum designed to foster informed European public debate, whose first session is scheduled for the end of 2025.
